The first building of the Northwest One project is being developed by 2 M Street Redevelopment LLC, a joint venture between William C. Smith + Co and The Warrenton Group.

William C. Smith + Co. will host another HOU Career Club Luncheon
On May 6, 2010, William C. Smith + Co. will host another HOU Career Club Luncheon where the next round of job seekers (former residents of Temple Courts) will learn more about the different roles in the Real Estate field.
The building is currently under design and will comprise of 314 units. Of the 314 units 93 (30%) will be affordable. Of the 93 affordable units 54 will be available to the residents of the former Temple Court development all of whom have portable Section 8 vouchers. The other 39 units will be rented to families and individuals earning less than 60 % of AMI. The balance of the development, 221 units will be market rate units. There are currently 192 +/- parking spaces.
The building is being designed as a Class A rental property complete with a full amenity package including roof top pool and party room, guest suite, fitness center, business center, green roof, courtyard, etc. The site is located on the edge of the NoMa neighborhood, one of the fastest developing emerging neighborhoods of the District. The site is 2 blocks from the New York Ave. Metro stop, 1 block from the 1.2M sq. ft. Constitution Center which is under construction and will house a Harris Teeter grocery store and 1 block from the future home of National Public Radio.
